Water

One cubic metre of water (at the correct temperature) weighs one metric tonne.  Cool, huh?

Shame to waste a car, though.  (Thanks, Geoff, again.)

You know, Mr. Fekete, It just suddenly occurred to me that you have absolutely no idea of what I have been up to for the past few years of my life. Since the much regretted demise of “The Stairwell” I have been quite active on LiveJournal and posted much about quite a lot.
While most of it is mindless rambling of my overactive mind, there are a few gems and wild stories of my past “achievements” etc… which you may not be aware!
At least, it would make for a few hours of interesting reading, if you (or anyone else reading this, whom I know,) would be interested, go to
http://www.livejournal.com and register for a free account and then go to my user name: freekofnature (note the spelling, also thanks to YOU for the moniker, yes, I took it from your suggestion many years ago… (http://freekofnature.livejournal.com) will only allow you to see my public postings which are a tiny fraction of the “really good stuff” You must get a user-id, login, to see the really amazing stuff. If you do register on Livejournal, send me an e-mail or a comment on any of my public postings with your username and we will mutually “friend” each other and then you have full access to ALL my postings. I guarantee you will me amazed at what you read… and have a jolly good time, and a good laugh, as well…

Remind me, Kirsten, what was that suggestion? I can’t imagine having called you a freak of nature, much less having misspelled it.

Ah, many many moons ago (approx 4 years or so…) we were conversing about some of the very strange things I had been up to, and you, in all jocularity and in reference to my commenting something silly about peoples reaction to seeing me in person and having difficulty accepting a connection between my visage, with the scientific output of my rather fertile scientific mind, remarked in jest that I am truly a freak of nature. Well, I responded that yes, in fact I AM a real freak of nature, combining both rather remarkable looks ( I was at the time a part time fashion and cosmetic model in New York after all) and graduating Summa from University with a dual major in Biochemistry and Physics, and pursuing a Masters in Theoretical Physics! Well, I was so impressed with this moniker that I immediately applied for this as my username on LiveJournal, but it was already taken (by some suicidally depressed geek in Colorado, so I modified the spelling (from FreakOfNature to FreekOfNature) and voila, a new and very descriptive livejournal username! I owe it all to you!
